Alison Black
Creative Director


Alison is a Logie-winning producer with extensive experience of working in sensitive environments. Her speciality is development and has created and produced more than $15 million worth of production in the UK, US and Australia

She created, developed and was the Supervising Producer of two series of the award-winning observational documentary Changing Minds mental health programs for the ABC, whilst working at Northern Pictures. The series was described as "Surely the most important in the history of Australian broadcasting" by the Sydney Morning Herald.

Her first major project after moving to Australia was Choir of Hard Knocks which she Series and Executive Produced whilst at the ABC. It took the MOST OUTSTANDING FACTUAL SERIES Logie in 2008.

Her USP is taking cameras where cameras have never been before, and filming sensitive subjects and situations with empathy and respect. Before that she was a newspaper journalist then a television news editor at ITN in the UK, covering major events such as the Fall of the Berlin Wall, Tiananmen Square and the first Gulf War.

Alison has been awarded a prestigious Churchill Fellowship to study engaging and accessible documentaries that can bring about social change.

Iain Black
Commercial Director


Iain has extensive commercial, marketing and digital experience, having held several senior roles in the UK, Europe and Australia working with major blue chip clients, global brands and agencies.

He specialises in pulling together commercial partnerships and ensuring safe delivery of product and outcomes

Iain is also learning to play the bagpipes, as his neighbours will testify.
